I have eczema. My skin has also reacted to skin care products. Do you guys have any suggestions on liquid foundations that are good for sensitive skin? I really wanted to give bare minerals a shot. I have heard lots of good things about bare minerals, and I have also heard some bad reviews on it. Is there any other foundations to use, that will not irritate my skin or make me break out. This will be my first time using makeup. Maybe something hypoallergenic? It would be good to get some suggestions!

I already use clean and clear dual action mositeizer, Mac oil control lotion, and Mac prep and prime In the morning. I have Mac blot powder and blot film, but I can’t touch up my makeup every hour. G
For my morning makeup routine I put on my mosterizer (let it soak in), lotion, and primer. Then I put a little studio fix fluid under my eyes and in the corners of my nose. Then I put studio fix powder plus foundation. I finish by putting a little mineralize skin Findlay powder and spraying fix+. I have really oily skin, an I’m at school all day which isnt air conditioned. After a couple hours my face gets really shiny and oily and I can fix it with my blot film and blot powder but I don’t really have a chance to go to the bathroom and fix it. I’d there a way I could keep my skin from getting oily? Thanks.

I’ve always had a problem with liquid foundation looking like I have a plastic layer of unnatural shine on my face lol. I have acne ( not too too bad) and I am OILY!!! I use(d) Teint Idole Foundation from Lancome and I love the coverage and all ( it’s light to medium coverage) BUT it just doesn’t look natural…. should i put on thinner layers cuz I felt like maybe it was a little to thick of layers maybe idk.. Any suggestions?

How would you apply liquid makeup with a brush? Please explain this to me, if this is okay to do.
Thanks!

I am currently using Lancome’s Dual finish pressed powder and I really like it, but it is time for a change. My skin is a tad acne prone and I have scars from post acne. I also have oily skin. I want a very natural finish that hides all imperfections without looking cakey. Would you recommend a pressed powder or a loose powder? Which ones are the best? (from Estee Lauder, Lancome, Clinique, etc.) Please do not suggest any liquid or MAC/ Bareminerals products. Thanks!

Hey so I’ve been wanting to try foundation for a while now but i’m just not sure what type/brand to use. I have very sensitive skin and I am afraid of having the "heavy makeup" look or caky skin. So what is your advice? Do you prefer powder foundation or liquid? Which do you think is best for me? What is your favorite brand? Which one do you recommend for my sensitive skin? Thanks so much in advance you guys.
PS. I’m kind of on a budget, so no like extremely expensive foreign makeup please if it could be found in like a drug store or like target that would be great

Hey, so I recently purchased MAC’s Studio Fix liquid foundation. I got it matched to my skin and everything and it was perfect for the first few weeks, but recently it’s been starting to make my skin really orange. I don’t know that much about makeup but I know that no one wants this, haha. So I want to know if you guys could suggest some good foundations. My skin is fairly pale and i’d like a foundation that makes that look good, not orange and unnatural. Thanks guys x

I have a small round one, what other sponges may work better?
And do I wet the sponge first?
I’ve used my fingers and a foundation brush (a good one) and neither look as natural as I’d like.
Will the sponge make a difference? How should I do it? And will it still make my makeup full coverage if I wet it?
I mix l’oreal true match liquid and a small amount of revlon colorstay together.

I usually apply my foundation with my fingers. I recently got acrylic nails and the makeup stained them. Now it looks like there is nicotine on my nails or something. Is there a better way to apply my liquid foundation? Help please!

It all confuses me. I’ve been wearing liquid and then a mineral powder on top. I want to look pretty and not like I’m wearing tons of makeup. Please help me! I was thinking of trying Covergirl NatureLuxe…? Should i wear powder with it?
I’m working on losing weight but would like my makeup to slim my face. Not look cakey though.
Also, should I be wearing more of a peach/orange blush or a pink? And lips? I’m so lost.
This is me with no makeup…..

Normal Skin, rare breakouts. Oil-free, Nonacnegenic, everday drugstore makeup. Liquid foundation preferred. Matte look being a total No-No. Moderate coverage. Smooth, Dewy, Natural finish, yet flawless. No pearly-sheen. Don’t recommend neutrogena because of their lack of shades.
Just shout out a drugstore brand foundation, and powder. Don’t have to be from the same brand.
I’am in high school, so I dont really care about touch-ups and stuff.

i have combination skin (oily in some places, dry in others) and acne.
my skin is really hard to deal with and no matter what i eat, how many times i wash my face – whatever face wash im using – nothing seems to work! its really bringing down my confidence.
i’ve pretty much given up on getting rid of my acne. so i’ll just cover it up.
is bare escentuals worth it?
is there any makeup that can cover it up??
i have tried revlon colorstay and i’m currently using a mousse:P
